My apologies for hijacking, but I got out of drag racing long before the drag radials came into play. What is the advantage to a drag radial? Do they eat up less HP due to stiffer sidewall & decreased rolling resistance? If that is the case, hypothetically, about how much E.T. gain would you have on say a 3000 lb, 10.00 car with a 28 x10.5 conventional softwall M/T?

According to them, the synthetic lubricated rear ends outlasted the hypoid lubricated rear ends by far. They told me the comparison was not even close, and they didn't care that the synthetic was much more expensive. With that being said I'm NOT saying the Wal Mart Tech brand synthetic is the thing to use in a drag racing rear end !.
